Human and Civil Rights Activist and Advocate

- I'm an activist-advocate, primarily engaged in environmental, animal rights and a variety of social justice issues. My primary focus for the past few years has been international human rights, peace, glbt, disabled, minorities and workers rights. I work exclusively, at this time, as a volunteer. My work has included opposition research, fundraising, campaigns, petition writing, petition circulation, making flyers/posters, distribution of information, letter writing, opinion papers and organizing events, including rallies and vigils. I also possess: academic and practical experience with political campaigns, many years of finance/banking and marketing background -- and multiple creative skills, including writing, editing, layout/design, blog and website development and photography. Through my well established network of activist-friends, I'm able to mobilize people to march, protest and/or organize against or for a particular issue or campaign, via letter writing, phone calling, petitioning or demonstrating.
